Level of Service You Want Before Comparing Moving Companies
We all know what it means to move. The packing, the planning, the money, and everything else involved. It can be quite stressful for almost anyone. There is the aspect of hiring a moving company to help you out with everything. You can even compare the costs of one moving company from another and find the best deal. The only question that you will have to ask is what kind of moving service you are looking for.

If you are looking for help with most of your move, then look no further than a full service moving company. A full service moving company can pack up your things, load them on their vehicles, transport them to where you are moving to, unload, and unpack everything. Of course, this type of service will generally cost the most money, but if money is not an issue but time is, then a full service moving company will be quite handy.

If you are not looking to pay that much but still have an issue with time, you can always go with a “you load, we move” service. Basically, how this works is you pack up your belongings and call the service. They bring a moving truck and you load the truck. Then they will transport your belongings to where you need them to go, and then you unload the truck. There are also variations of this service, such as “you pack, we load” type of service, where you do the packing and the company loads, transports, and unloads your things. While these services are not quite the same as full service moving companies, they are generally much less pricey and geared more for those who can donate some but not all of their time to moving.

Finally, you have the option of a moving truck rental. When you rent a moving truck, you drive the truck to your home then you pack and load your belongings yourself. After you are ready to go, you drive the truck yourself to your new home where you will unload the vehicle yourself. This service does require the most work on your part, but moving truck rentals are very affordable and especially desired for those with limited budgets.

When you are comparing moving companies, keep in mind which level of service you need. This way you can pick out the right company that meets your financial budget and moving needs.
